If your kids are competitive gum chewers, chockolate guzzlers, TV addicts or generally spoilt brats take them to see Wille Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. Presented by Kids world at the SRC the plays is a chastening experience for 'kids' of all ages! Directed by Lushin Dubey and Bubbles Sabharwal the musical (credit to the writer not mentioned) is a fun show designed around children's natural talent.
The most attractive aspect of the show was the easy interplay with scups and props. One has rarely seen such as group of uninhibited children on stage. There was a degree of precocity, to be expected from upper middle class kids, but by and large, everyone, and while doing his own thing was also interacting. More shows would be welcome, as was gradient from the mad rush for tickets on the second day! Welcomgroup ITC and the un-named 'well wither' may be pleased of oblige!
